About Us

At Carman & Associates, we consistently emphasize the application of proven scientific and engineering principles to our investigation, consultation and testimony regarding fire and explosion incidents. Many firms offer services for determining the origin and cause of fire incidents. In most cases however, many more questions remain that need answering. Among the most common questions are why a fire or explosion grew so large or so quickly, what factors contributed to the incident’s growth and extent, and how did various equipment- and personnel-factors fail to prevent or minimize the incident? Only by addressing such questions can a full understanding of these events be achieved. At Carman & Associates, not only do we provide you answers to the origin and cause of fires and explosions, but we specialize in answering these detailed questions and more.

Steven Carman and Clinton Carman are Certified Fire Investigators with the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI-CFI) and other associations.
